ABOUT THE POSITION  Lutheran Family & Children's Services of Missouri is seeking an individual to provide effective counseling/therapy to a senior population and their families with mental health related concerns.  This is a full time therapist position located at our Southeast Missouri regional office in Cape Girardeau, MO. This professional will help by providing effective counseling/therapy to individuals and families including case coordination and crisis intervention as needed.  Maintain the highest levels of standards of ethics and confidentiality.  Will maintain accurate and complete client records. Continue professional growth.  Participate in peer consultation.  High energy, collaborative person who understands the importance of community partnering and will help grow this program. Serve on department and agency committees or work groups as needed.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS  REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum Education & Experience: Level I:    Master's degree or higher in a mental health related field with professional license from the State of Missouri (LMSW) or (PLPC) plus three years of experience. Level II:   Master's degree or higher in a mental health related field with professional license from the State of Missouri (LCSW) or (LPC) plus three years of experience. Level III:  Master's degree in a mental health related field with professional license from the State of Missouri (LCSW) or (LPC) plus four years of experience.
