Job Description

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services of Missouri is seeking a highly organized self-motivated, and results-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the VP of Human Resources and the overall Human Resources function. This position will support the day to day operations by performing a variety of administrative activities. This position is part-time working 20-24 hours per week. Duties: • Provide general administrative support. • Coordinate employee functions and events. • Assist team with various research and special projects. • Prepare and send communications to staff on various issues. • Provide information by answering employee questions and inquiries in a respectful and timely manner. • Request, maintain and file HR documentation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: • Associates degree with 1 year experience in Human Resources, or High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years’ experience in Human Resources. • Knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures. • Knowledge of HRIS system • Demonstrate a professional manner and be accommodating to staff and visitors. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Effective communication, time management, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
