Lutheran Family and Children’s Services of Missouri (LFCS) is a not-for-profit social services organization serving the state of Missouri.
LFCS is looking for an experienced candidate to assume the role of Grants and Contracts Coordinator. This position will coordinate and manage the research, development, completion, and submission of LFCS' grant proposals, contract bids, reports and other funding-related documents to achieve operating and capital budget needs.
Job Requirements
Required Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 2 or more years’ experience in grant and contract writing, fundraising or solicitation.
Preferred Education/Experience
• Grants Professionals Certification (GPC)
Knowledge/Skills/Characteristics
• Working knowledge of grant writing concepts and programmatic administration.
• The ability to creatively and effectively write grants and contracts.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various constituencies.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze and prioritize work in a timely and effective manner.
• Works well in a team oriented environment.
