Job Description

Lutheran Family & Children's Services of Missouri is looking for an energetic, experienced teacher. This position will provide nurturing care and early education to children at our Childcare Center. Duties include: Advance the physical and intellectual growth and development of the children by providing care and early education. Maintain a safe, sanitary and healthy learning environment by following licensing, accreditation and center guidelines. Communicate with parents/guardians to establish good rapport and a positive, productive working relationship. Maintain a commitment to the profession of early care and education. Support the social and emotional development and provide positive guidance of children served. Qualifications:

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of child development, licensing regulations and accreditation criteria. Ability to communicate well with parents, children and co-workers.
